Gazelle Champion Mondial A-frame 1980
I owned a lot of Gazelle Champion Mondial's in my life, but in this condition I have rarely found them! According to the frame number, which is 3271817, this one can be dated back to 1980. I bought the bike from a guy in Antwerpen in Belgium.. How this Gazelle ended up there is unclear to me. What is clear, however, is that this bicycle is practically unused. I estimate that the bicycle is used for a maximum of 300 km. Because you rarely come across a bike in this condition, I have decided to replace almost nothing. Everything is still original, even the brake rubbers, although one of them is damaged. The only thing I have swapped are the wheels since I bought the bike without a wheelset.
The bike is still in a very good, original, condition. It has almost no visible damages. The frame itself is made out of reynolds 531C tubes. Furthermore is the bike equiped with one of the most reliable groupsets that Campagnolo had to offer in those days, A complete Campagnolo Nuovo Gran Sport groupset. The chance that you will find another Champion Mondial in this condition is almost none.
