Gazelle Champion Mondial AA Special 1993
The gazelle AA special was the top model in the Gazelle hierarchy. In the 80's and the 90's these were probably on of the best bikes that money could buy. Quality wise these bikes were in my opinion better then their Italian counterparts. This one here also has some of the extra options that were possible at that time like the extra bottle fixing in the seat tube and the chromed rear stays and dropouts. Only option that is missing is the chromed front fork. Frame number is 3792159 which indicates 1993.
The bike is in a exceptional good condition. It has almost no visible damages. The first owner really cared about his gazelle, and you can see that, it has almost no visible damages except some small paint chips. This gazelle Champion Mondial is an very well preserved example of the early 90's build Champion Mondial's. In the Gazelle hierarchy this was the top of the bill. Exactly these frames were used by a lot of pro team during the 90's. The frame itself is made out of sturdy Reynolds 531C tubes and decked out with a the last generation of the Campagnolo Chorus group. The paintjob on this bike is still in a very good condition and also a typical 90's design. The chance that you will find another one in this condition is almost none.
