Rossin Super Record 1984 58cm
I own a lot of bikes, but Rossin always stood out of the crowd when it came to the attention to details and fancy paintjobs. The brand itself was found in 1974 by Marco Rossin. He was the head frame builder at Colnago until 1974 when he established his own brand. Rossin was one of the best brands you could buy in the 80 and the beginning of the 90's. In 1992 the brand was sold to a company called Finross.
I bought this Rossin from the second owner. A skilled cabinet maker from Breda. He bought this bike from former pro Ruud de Breij, who also was the original first owner of the bike. The bike itself is still in an amazing condition. It is still completely original. Just how it was in 1984 when it left the Rossin Factory in Cavenago Brianza (in Italy).
The bike is in a good, used condition. It has some patina here and there, but nothing really disturbing. The chrome is still in a good condition. The frame itself is made out of stiff and reliable Columbus SL tubes, and has a lot of pantographes. Furthermore does it have internal cable routing which was rare for a Rossin. The bike is furthermore equipped with the best Campagnolo had to offer in those days. A complete Campagnolo Super Record group. A true masterpiece for a every vintage bike collector!
